All workshops will be on Thursday twice a month starting in February 2026 and run from 9:00am to 3:30pm; Instructors are Christine Biscoglio and Susan Hillson. Specific dates are as follows:

Floral Design Study is a series of six units in basic design. With the objective to develop a unified understanding of the art of flower arranging, FFGC has provided its members the opportunity to learn the art through Floral Design Study. Each unit is held one day with three hours of lecture/demonstration in the morning and a two hour supervised workshop held after the lunch break. The series should be completed within a time slot of one year.
The study series are taught by certified Florida Federation of Garden Clubs Floral Design Study Instructors. Certificates are presented to students after completing all of the first six units. The units are as follows:
Unit I. Containers, Basic Tools and Vertical Designs
Unit II. Conditioning Plant Material & Triangular Designs
Unit III. Elements and Principles of Design & Curved Designs
Unit IV. Table Settings and Horizontal Designs
Unit V. Accessories, Features & Bases
Unit VI. Transporting Materials & Expressive Designs
