Habitat for Humanity Landscaping Projects

The Habitat for Humanity partners with families in need to build affordable homes together.  Wellington Garden Club takes part in the National Garden Club’s project of landscaping Habitat homes in our community. Wellington Garden Club is in a joint effort with other various non-profit organizations in Palm Beach County to further assist Habitat for Humanity projects
We have been raising funds for Habitat for Humanity Landscape Projects over the years and have been sponsoring, designing, and installing landscapes at Habitat Homes since 2004.   When needed, our club helps to ‘spruce up’ older landscapes. Members visit Habitat homeowners to give free on-site advice, including a few “replacement” plants as well as tips on watering, fertilizing, trimming and in some cases, advice on what to remove.
