About Us
Since 1982, Wellington Garden Club, in Wellington, Florida, has been an active part of the local community and the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC). The Club was founded in 1981 by Mary Clark who was a member of the West Palm Beach Garden Club. The club started with 14 members and became a part of FFGC in 1982. Its objectives were to advance home gardening, to stimulate civic pride, to preserve natural resources and to protect wildlife.
Wellington Garden Club is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Our membership now averages 140.
As a federated club, we are members of the National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC), Deep South Region (DSR), Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC) and District X.

Mission
To further the education of the members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, botany, floral design, landscape design, and environmental awareness through the conservation of natural resources, civic beautification, and nature studies, and to instill in our youth the love of gardening and the respect and protection of the environment.
