Garden Club Meetings and Speakers

Wellington Garden Club will meet on the first Monday of each month (except in September or otherwise noted) at the Village of Wellington Community Center located at 12150 Forest Hill Blvd, Wellington, FL 33414. (Link to Google Maps)  We will begin our first business meeting in September at 9:30 AM. SPECIAL PROGRAM: This coming April there will be a change in the speaker format. That month the business meeting will be held first followed by a bonsai workshop. This will be open for members to either do “hands on” work on a bonsai or for others to just observe. For those who would like to participate “hands on”, There will be a sign-up sheet available for the first few meetings. Depending on your response to this workshop, we may have to limit the number of “hands on” participants. Hopefully we can accommodate everyone who wishes to participate. There will be a fee to work “hands on”. We will not have the exact amount until closer to the April date due to changing costs. This fee will include the plant, the pot, pot preparation, and the soil. We will also provide a list of items that participants will need to bring to the workshop. Right now the estimated cost is $70.00 – $80.00. We are working to keep the cost as low as possible. We hope that you will all enjoy working with Mike. Even if you just observe there is a lot to learn. Questions are welcomed from anyone.

Board of Directors Meetings are held monthly at the Wellington Community Center from August through April, unless otherwise noted.
