Dr Kimberly Anne Moore

Dr. Kimberly Anne Moore is a professor of Environmental Horticulture located at the Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center.  She has a 70% teaching and 30% research appointment.  She teaches 4 online undergraduate courses and 2 online graduate courses.  Her research focus is on nutritional management strategies for greenhouse crops, specifically the use of alternative growing substrates and the use of reclaimed waste water.  She has been at the University of Florida since 1995 and has a PhD and MS in horticulture from Iowa State University.  She has a BS in Environmental Science and Botany with a minor in chemistry from Eastern Illinois University and will present her program on home irrigation and ways to conserve water.
