Wakodahatchee Wetlands: Environmental Trip

13026 Jog Road, Delray Beach, FL 33484

We will meander through what was once 50 acres of undeveloped utility land; that has been transformed into a haven for water birds and other wildlife.  We will see numerous migratory birds in various stages of nesting.  Some of the birds you will see are: cormorants, herons, wrens, thrashers, limp mins, coots, warblers, hawks, waxwings, and tanagers.  The tour is guided but you can leave at your convenience.  There are numerous benches and gazebos to rest throughout the site.

Bring binoculars if you have them!!!
